Larry Aduddell

Vice President of Exploration

Mr. Aduddell graduated from Texas A & I University, Kingsville, Texas with a Bachelors of Science in Geology and a minor in Biology. Mr. Aduddell joined San Isidro in 2011as Vice President of Exploration. Mr. Aduddell began his career in 1977 as a Development Geologist with Gulf Oil Corporation in Lafayette, Louisiana. He generated drilling prospects in North and South Louisiana by subsurface mapping. His work was primarily in Oligocene Salt Domes, developing the Moncrief Field, Tuscaloosa Trend in South Louisiana.

Mr. Aduddell joined Freeport-McMoran Exploration Co. in its Corpus Christi, Texas office as an Exploration Geologist in the fall of 1978. He generated prospects by subsurface and seismic mapping. He also was the McMoRan geologic representative at Texas Railroad Commission hearings. He discovered and developed Block 1064L field in Willacy County which produced more than 50 BCF. Also while with McMoRan, he performed detailed development work on Red Fish Bay Field, N.E. Corpus Channel as well as exploration geology in the Frio and Miocene trends of Lower Texas Coastal Counties.

When McMoRan closed its Corpus Christi office in late 1983, Mr. Aduddell joined CHG, Inc., in Corpus Christi, Texas as an Exploration Geologist. He generated prospects by subsurface and seismic mapping. His exploration geologic work involved the Wilcox and Queen City trends in Jim Hogg, Duval, McMullen, Bee and Live Oak counties, Texas. He also worked extensively in the Yegua trend in Brooks, Jim Wells, Duval and Victoria counties, Texas. Mr. Aduddell’s major discovery at CHG was the Matagorda Blk 487L field.

In 1986, Mr. Aduddell was hired by Tana Oil & Gas as an Exploration Geologist to transition Tana into state waters offshore. He developed prospects in Miocene and Frio Trends along the Texas Coast and in State waters and Federal waters in the Gulf of Mexico. Among his many major discoveries were High Island 153, High Island 415 & 416A, Ship Shoal 358, South Timbalier 275 and South Timbalier 264.

Dating from his retirement in 2000 until he joined San Isidro in 2011, Mr. Aduddell consulted for Royal Oil and Gas evaluating offshore prospect inventory, traveling to Houston to evaluate prospects for Lease Sale and mapping prospects on P.C. SMT Systems.
